Siemens 3RT power contactors are available for switching motors from 3k - W to 250k - W. Siemens contactors are classified into different sizes for accessories and for connecting to form compact starter arrangements, the smallest Siemens contactor is a size S00 and the largest is an S12. Each size of contactor contains a different power range, and the size can be connected to other Siemens products such as overloads and motor circuit protectors of the same size. Siemens contactors are available in a wide range of control voltages; 20...33V AC/DC, 110V AC 50/60Hz and 230V AC 50/60Hz some of the range is also able to connect directly to a PLC output for low power switching. Size S00: 3RT201 up to 7.7k - W Size S0: 3RT202 up to 18.5k - W Size S2: 3RT203 up to 37k - W Size S3: 3RT204 up to 55k - W Sizes S6 to S120: 3RT10 up to 250k - W In addition to the standard 3-pole contactors in sizes S00 to S12, the 3RT range also includes non-standard contactors such as 4-pole miniature contactors, vacuum contactors and contactor relays and coupling relays. The miniature contactors are available in power rating of up to 4k - W. Siemens 3RT contactors are also available in ready assembled contactor assemblies for star-delta starting (wye-delta) and reversing contactor assemblies. These pre-assembled contactor starters are fully wired and tested by Siemens. For critical safety systems, Siemens has a range of contactors certified for SUVA. The SUVA contactors have auxiliary contacts with mirror contacts ensuring closure by both the main contacts and auxiliary contacts cannot occur at the same time. The auxiliary contacts also cannot be removed or disconnected. Siemens 3RT201 Siemens 3RT201 contactors are the smallest sized contactor in the range (Size S00) with a width of just 45mm. Size S00 contactors have a power rating range of 3k - W to 7.5k - W. 3RT201 contactors have a 3-pole configuration and available in with control voltages of 23...26V AC/DC 50/60Hz, 110...127V 50/60Hz and 220...240V 50/60Hz additionally a PLC controlled version is available. 3RT201 contactors are available either a 1NO or 1NC auxiliary contacts as standard, additional auxiliary contacts can be mounted on the side or front.. S00 contactors do not have withdrawable coils; the contactor would need to be replaced if a fault developed.
